Service Description

Piano Atelier: Spring Immersion is a one-month intensive period of piano study designed for pianists who wish to dedicate focused time to practice, listening, and musical inquiry. Rooted in the atelier tradition, it offers a structured yet flexible environment built on continuity and steady engagement, fostering depth, patience, and lasting connection with the craft. Rather than promising fast results or mastery, this immersion provides the conditions for deep study to unfold naturally. Technique, listening, theory, and musical awareness are approached as interconnected aspects of a single practice. Work is guided by each participant’s experience and goals, offering a space for pianists and piano enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the depth and discipline of classical piano practice. What matters is a genuine commitment to showing up to the work with curiosity and patience. Structure & Hours The Spring Immersion unfolds over four weeks, for a total of approximately 52 hours of guided study, organized roughly as follows: -Individual Piano Lessons: Focused work on technique and sound production, repertoire, and personal practice questions. -Music Theory & Score Study: Understanding harmony, melody, rhythm, and meter, and applying them through creative practice and exploration at the piano. -Masterclasses & Shared Sessions: Collective learning experience through listening, observation, and discussion. -Guided Practice & Listening Sessions: Practices supporting concentration, embodiment, and musical presence through the use of breathwork, movement, and sound. The balance of activities is adapted to the needs and background of each participant, within a shared, immersive structure. This immersion is ideal for pianists who wish to deepen their relationship with the instrument, explore the craft with intention, and engage in a dedicated period of focused study — whether or not they are pursuing a professional path. Participation is limited in order to preserve depth and individual attention. If you feel drawn to this way of working, you are welcome to get in touch to explore whether the Spring Immersion is a good fit.
